Louis Chaurey is on of Marks and Spencer’s best known own brand labels and always in demand with budget concious Champagne buyers and at £15 a bottle it’s a safe bet for seasonal tipplers too. Oudinet 2004 is a a rich, full flavoured vintage Champagne - The Independent called it A great sparkler for any kind of celebration. And De Saint Gall is produced entirely from Chardonnay grapes which gives it an elegant, clean taste that regular white wine drinkers will appreciate.

Tesco are pushing the boat out this Christmas with 25% off their Finest Premier Cru with a case of 6 at £85.44 which is just £14.24 a bottle. Their Finest Champagne has won over many a connoisseur and represents great value for money.

Waitrose are another Champagne seller renowned for their own-brand offerings and this month you can sample their excellent Vintage Brut Special Reserve 2004 with 20% off a case of 12 for £273.48– working out at £22.79 a bottle.
